Job Summary

This entry level position will work closely with our revenue, production, and marketing accounting teams to build data pipelines, automate workflows, develop reporting solutions, and enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of our accounting process.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automated data workflows using tools such as, Power Automate, Python, or Snowflake to streamline revenue, production, and marketing accounting processes
  • Develop and optimize datasets, dashboards, and reporting solutions (e.g., Power BI) that provide real-time visibility into revenue performance and operational trends
  • Leverage AI tools to identify efficiency opportunities, enhance data validation, and automate repetitive tasks across the revenue cycle
  • Design and maintain data models and pipelines that support recurring reporting cycles, reconciliation, and management reporting
  • Analyze financial and production data to detect anomalies, identify root causes, and recommend data-driven improvements
  • Partner with accounting, operations, and IT teams to understand data needs, document processes, and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through validation routines, audit checks, and reconciliation logic embedded into automated workflows
  • Support system enhancements and integrations, including testing, data mapping, and developing logic for new automations or reporting functions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by proactively identifying opportunities to reduce manual work, enhance scalability, and create standardization
  • Provide ad-hoc analytics and insights to support leadership decision-making, process optimization, and strategic initiatives

Job Specific Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
  • Exposure to Power BI or similar visualization tools and a willingness to become an expert
  • Basic understanding or academic experience with SQL, Python, R, not expert-level, just familiarity and interest in learning more
  • Strong interest in workflow automation and process improvement using tools like Power Automate, AI copilots, data pipelines, or scripting
  • Ability to translate business questions into data-driven analysis and communicate insights clearly
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively, and handle multiple priorities

Education

  • Minimum: High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field

Experience

Minimum: 0 - 2+ years related work experience
