Job Summary
This senior level position is responsible for maintaining, implementing, and reporting the production to internal and external parties. Works closely with asset teams, field personnel and revenue to ensure accurate allocations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for recording, allocating, and reconciling daily & monthly gas production
- Monitors and maintains data entry associated with gas volumes
- Monitors and maintains production volumes of company’s operated properties to ensure revenues are received and recorded accurately
- Accountable for reviewing First Production & Sales Notifications, Schedule of New Wells, Production Flow Changes and utilizing these reports to create and maintain gathering systems and new well & completions or recompletions in Enertia
- Works with field operators and asset teams to correct any Enertia issues with daily production
- Maintains professional working relationships with all levels of field personnel
- Works with Asset Teams to ensure that all daily and monthly allocations are accurate down to the well level. Provides the team with any production information or analysis of data as requested
- Responsible for preparing reports on production allocations to be used for revenue distributions
- Monitors and resolves compliance issues associated with production audits and third-party audits
- Is proficient in and understands field flows
- Is proficient with the Enertia software and can accomplish Delivery setups. Resolves issues and flow setups in the production accounting system
- Consults with Managers to resolve issues and flow setups for more complex systems in the production accounting system
- Monitors third party gas statements on operated properties
- Provides backup assistance, as needed, to other departments
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Specific Skills
- Ability to identify problems or discrepancies in production data, processes and equipment
- Strong knowledge of industry databases
- Strong analytical skills
Education
Minimum: High school diploma or GED
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree - from accredited university - Accounting, Finance or related field
Experience
Minimum: 5 - 8 years related work experience
