Job Summary
Expand Energy's affiliate, Compass Manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Welder III - ASME Code Vessel Welder to join our fabrication team. This position is responsible for the fabrication and welding of ASME code pressure vessels and related equipment while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld ASME code pressure vessels and related components
- Produce code-compliant vessels that meet quality and production requirements
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures
- Work effectively with supervisors, inspectors, fitters, and fellow fabricators to meet production goals
- Demonstrated experience welding ASME code pressure vessels
Job Specific Skills
- Advanced ability to perform welding techniques
- Advanced ability to read and understand blueprints
- Advanced ability to interpret customer's specification and applicable industry codes and standards
- Possess advanced computer skills, communication skills, and customer service skills

Schedule
Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM - some overtime may be required based on production demands
Education & Experience
Minimum: High school diploma or GED and 5 years related work experience or an equivalent substitution for education of 9 - 12 years related work experience
Additional Qualifications
- Previous experience in pressure vessel manufacturing, required
- Ability to pass multiple ASME welding qualification tests
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear required PPE
