Job Summary
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
- Work with SMAW, GMAW, SCAW and SAW welding processes
- Work independently as well as in a team environment focusing on teamwork and unity
- Exhibit cooperative skills with others on the job
- Layout structural and piping compenents using hand tools
- Position fixtures, Jigs, pin wheels, rolls, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Specific Skills
- Ability to perform basic welding techniques
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to interpret customer's specifications and applicable industry codes and standards
- Possess basic computer skills, communication skills, and customer service skills
