Job Summary
This entry level support position provides general administrative support to supervisors, employee, and work teams, under direct supervision in order to promote the efficiency of the group they support.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, serving as the first point of contact for both internal and external clients
- Providing administrative support and assisting in daily office needs
- Handling confidential information with discretion
- Maintains good vendor and client relations
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Fields/screens phone calls, takes and delivers messages in a timely manner and transfers as needed
- Maintains and updates various Excel spreadsheets
- Assists with expense reports as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned to support administrative team and overall business operations

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Ability to communicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to clients, the public, government, and other external sources. This information may be exchanged in person, in writing, telephone, or by email
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office applications. Able to learn company specific applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with multiple, sometimes changing priorities. Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- A professional appearance and telephone manner is essential
Education
Minimum: High school diploma or GED
Experience
Minimum: 0 - 2 years related work experience
