The Manager – Talent & Culture will set the vision and lead the design, execution, and continuous evolution of our enterprise-wide talent and culture strategy. This leader will champion initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, develop top-tier talent, and embed our core values into every aspect of the employee experience. Serving as a thought partner to business leaders, the Manager – Talent & Culture will align people practices with business goals, ensuring we attract, grow, and retain exceptional talent while fostering a culture that accelerates performance and belonging.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Define and support the long-term talent management strategy, including workforce planning, leadership development, performance management, succession planning, and career growth frameworks.
- Translate our core values into actionable programs, ensuring they are lived experiences across the organization. Lead initiatives that strengthen connection, collaboration, and pride in Expand Energy’s mission.
- Partner with executives to build strong talent pipelines. Implement development programs, talent reviews and bench-strength assessments that grow our people at all levels to drive organizational performance.
- Lead enterprise efforts to measure and enhance employee engagement, ensuring Expand Energy is a place where people feel valued, empowered, and inspired to contribute their best.
- Drive cultural integration, change management, and organizational effectiveness initiatives that support Expand Energy’s growth and strategic priorities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders across the business. Demonstrate strong presence to lead development discussions and occasionally facilitate programs.
- Manage our external executive coaching engagements to ensure effective growth and development of our executive team.
- Oversee strategic direction of our petro-technical development talent committees that enables operational excellence.
- Establish key metrics to evaluate talent and culture effectiveness. Leverage data and employee feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide direction, mentorship, and development opportunities to the Talent & Culture team, building a high-performing group that exemplifies Expand Energy’s values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree - from accredited university
Preferred: Master’s degree - from accredited university - Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
Preferred: Other - PHR/SPHR
Experience
Minimum: 8 - 12+ years related work experience
