Job Summary

This senior level position analyzes operations processes, maintains software and monitors operations activities including production data, measurement data and field maintenance in order to provide advanced support and assistance to the Operations teams.

 

This position can be located in Wheeling, WV, Morgantown, WV or Zanesville, OH.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Water Hauling

  • Water Volume Forecast – Update weekly with dev schedule + any forecast inputso    
    • Yearly do a linear decline of all older producing pads to forecast another year of water
      • Add in type curve volumes from the previous year’s pads
      • New Pads remain on the type curve function that need updated based on previous pad flowback volumes by area
      • Type Curves are reviewed yearly/during accruals if volumes are off
    • Cost Forecast – Updated with Volume Forecast
      • Weekly update the development schedule and paste in new frac dates and volume forecast
      • Yearly or with a new RFP update disposal/reuse $/bbl
        • Full analysis of pick up and drop off locations
    • Cost Tracking – Updated Bi-Weekly/As needed
      • Run Gemini ticket report through Gemini to tracking spreadsheet
        • Use data checks for any new pad/offload and update data tables for comparisons to the forecast and other sheets
    • Water Accrual – Monthly
      • Update cost tracking with Gemini data morning of the accrual due date for mostly actual data
      • Use forecasting sheet to add in any end of month estimates that are needed
        • Update Tank tool for tank rise/fall for additional volume estimates
    • Gemini
      • Contracts – Almost daily with issues, once API is figured out this should only need updated with RFP/Rate changes
      • Pad/Offload Updates – Almost daily with issues to correct zones, should only need updates with new frac offloads, new pads, or tts/flowback/production switch updates

Completions

  • Forecasted 30 day water out volume and costs – Update Johnathon Crawfords sheet with any new forecast run
    • Sum actual 30 day water and costs from cost tracking for past TTS
      • Split costs across all wells using metered data % split
    • Use Volume Forecast to sum first 30 days of estimated type curve water volume for next 3 years by well
      • Use cost forecast $/bbl by area to estimate cost portion

Data Requests

  • Use existing tools or build a new sheet to answer any request
    •    Provide updates for older tools as needed 
    •    Updating personal reference tables

Job Specific Skills

  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with co-workers and system users
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines
  • Demonstrates basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and is able to learn company specific applications
  • Possesses a working knowledge of gas and liquid measurement systems
  • Understands process flow diagrams, P&ID drawings, and electrical wiring diagrams
  • Possesses an advanced knowledge of remote communications, RTU principles and concepts, PLC system design, and programming
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of instrument and controls, low-voltage electronics, and basic electrical theory and principles

Education

Minimum: High school diploma or GED

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree - from accredited university

Experience

Minimum: 5 - 8 years related experience

Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate within a 40-mile radius of the following field offices to be considered for this position: Zanesville Field Office (4900 Boggs Road, Zanesville, OH 43701); Wheeling Field Office (1034 East Bethlehem Blvd., Wheeling, WV 26003); Morgantown Field Office (1300 Fort Pierpont Dr., Suite 201, Morgantown, WV 26508)
