Job Summary

This entry level position performs preventative maintenance, is responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting, and supports all aspects of natural gas measurement, under direct supervision in order to improve production.

 

Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate within a 60-mile radius of the Mansfield Field Office (1970 Highway 84, Mansfield, LA 71052) to be considered for this position.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists with new meter installations, preventative maintenance, and field solutions for measurement related problems
  • Assists with the maintenance and operation of flow computers and primary devices
  • Maintains required meter calibration and adheres to company standards of documentation
  • Performs plate changes and general up keep of the end devices
  • Monitors measurement and gas quality at assigned meter sites
  • Maintains and troubleshoots telemetry on measurement equipment
  • Coordinates with the Measurement Department and Production Control as required, and provides support for gas volume discrepancies
  • Assists in volume recover by providing information
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Specific Skills

  • Basic knowledge of the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of various types of oilfield equipment
  • Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems
  • Basic knowledge of the oil and gas industry
  • Basic knowledge of gauges, dials, or other indicators used to ensure machinery is in proper working order

Education & Experience

Minimum: High school diploma or GED and 0 - 2 years related work experience or an equivalent substitution for education of 4 - 6 years related work experience

Additional Qualifications

Ability to possess a valid drivers license.
