Job Summary

This entry level position operates a variety of power tools and other equipment involving physical labor at construction sites in order to assist in the safe and efficient operations of the site.

 

Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate within a 60-mile radius of the Mansfield Field Office (1970 Highway 84, Mansfield, LA 71052) to be considered for this position

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities for gas pipelines, and other related appurtenances
  • Develop spreadsheets and databases to track and analyze pipeline efficiencies, DOT compliance issues, O&M costs
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, OCC, ODEQ, EPA, FERC, One-Call and other regulatory agencies where applicable. Responsible for all DOT/OCC compliance issues
  • Perform assessments of company facilities to ensure compliance with industry and company O&M procedures and practices
  • Maintain strict surveillance and enforcement of security, safety and environmental rules and procedures at company pipelines
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Expands Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Ride all pipelines as part of Expands scheduled inspections, ensuring the integrity of the ROWs, looking for leaks, and encroachments
  • Must communicate well with planners

Job Specific Skills

  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Must be able to travel long distances on a UTV in the elements
  • Must be able to read and interpret computer-based maps
  • Must be able to communicate with the public in a manner fitting to Expand
  • Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials

Education & Experience

Minimum: High school diploma or GED and 0 - 2 years related work experience or an equivalent substitution for education of 4 - 6 years related work experience

Additional Qualifications

Ability to possess a valid drivers licenses
